MiniPPM is a small and handheld measuring device developed for photosynthesis measurements. With its light weight, small size and affordable price, it is very suitable for practical applications in agriculture and gardening.
For more than 25 years, EARS company has carried out research and product development studies for chlorophyll fluorescence and photosynthesis measurements in cooperation with the University of Agriculture Wageningen. As a result of these researches, a new photosynthesis model that measures photosynthesis through fluorescence was born.
In the early 1990s, EARS company developed the first handheld photosynthesis device based on this principle. MiniPPM is the third photosynthesis device that has been renewed and developed upon the first device developed. With improvements in optics and electronics and significantly reduced size and weight, MiniPPM is the latest 3rd generation photosynthesis device from EARS.
